In response to demand survey for Dinesh Vihar OMR Chennai PH-II,

DEMAND SURVEY FOR AWHO HOUSING PROJECT AT
DINESH VIHAR, OMR CHENNAI PHASE-II FROM 09 SEP 2019 TO 07 NOV 2019

1. Phase I of Dinesh Vihar, OMR Chennai project consisting of 852 DUs in 06 towers has been
completed and handing over of DUs are in progress.
1. 2. AWHO announces a Demand Survey for its housing project at OMR Chennai Phase-II from
09 Sep 2019 to 07 Nov 2019.

 Applications are invited from Army personnel (Serving / Retired), Widows
and parents of battle/ fatal casualties personnel who are in receipt of family pension alongwith demand
draft for Rs 10,000/- in favour of MD, AWHO before/ by 07 Nov 2019 as commitment money.
 Application should include Rank, Name, Personal No, Date of Birth, Address, Contact details, e mail ID, name of NOK
etc.
Format of the application for Demand Survey is available on AWHO website.

3. Location. Site is located approximately 27 Kms South of Chennai City on the Old Mahabalipuram
Road. It is located within the fast developing suburb of Chennai off OMR Road, Navalur (Thazambur
Village) in the vicinity of one of the top INFOTECH destinations of the country.

5. Features.

6. Proposed Unit Plan of Phase-II can be perused on AWHO website (www.awhosena.in).
7. Fixation of Seniority. All applications received during the announced demand survey period shall be
treated at par for seniority. At the close of the advertised period, inter-se seniority will be determined by a
random draw of lots. From 08 Nov 2019 onwards, seniority of applicants will be fixed on first-comefirst-
serve basis based on the date of Demand Draft for commitment money.
NOTES:-
(a) If the project does not take off within three years, the commitment money will be refunded without
any deductions and No interest will be paid. Interest will be paid by AWHO after three years from
the date of receipt of application at HQ AWHO.
(b) In case of premature withdrawal by an applicant, ie before launch of the scheme or before a
period of 3 years, the commitment money will be refunded after deduction of 2% handling charges and
no interest will be paid.
(c) Existing registrant of AWHO can also apply. However allottees in any other AWHO
Schemes can also apply as Priority – II applicant.
